About

Wantok Musik is a trailblazing music label and cultural organisation connecting Australia, Timor-Leste and the broader Pacific region. Founded to amplify First Nations, Melanesian and Pacific voices, Wantok champions artists whose work preserves language, strengthens culture, and shares powerful stories with global audiences.

Our catalogue spans traditional, contemporary, experimental and cross-cultural collaborations, all deeply rooted in identity, community and place. Wantok is dedicated to ethical, culturally grounded, artist-led approaches to music creation and dissemination.
