MIHKA CHEE

Mihka Chee, a Māori, Chinese, and Pakeha multi-instrumentalist hailing from Aotearoa, joined her first punk band at just 13, departing from her nerdy classical violin and piano roots. With the electrifying pop-rock band Ivy Lies, Mihka stormed the NZ music charts and racked up emerging artist awards with an album recorded in Los Angeles. Now rocking the Australian music landscape, Mihka shines as a solo powerhouse, gracing platforms like Double J, FBi Radio, and FUEL TV's "Surfing Life: Board Bible." Her upcoming EP promises an explosive blend of 90s rock, punk energy, pop hooks, and classical flair with collaborators from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

Mihka Chee is the General Manager of Wantok Musik Foundation.
